I was inspired by the book and movie "Valley of the Dolls" which I was
introduced by my lovely gay friend Brian Lobato. I was so obsessed I
talked my favorite photographer (Patrick Rafanan) and Stylist (Svetlana)
to do this shoot with me. Big thanks to model Sonia Nickels. It was a
pleasure to have my vision come to life.
I just found this website and blog. Wow! I'm blown away. I'm the kind of girl that doesn't wear make-up and I avoid the make-up counters because they are always trying to sell me things that I don't want. I have only sat in a make-up artist chair once, and it was Sarah V. She made me feel comfortable, she gave me a wonderful facial and didn't try to sell me one piece of make-up, instead she gave me tips and suggested different cleansers and moisturizers for my skin. I can't wait to see what she's going to do next.
